HEPE
College life is pretty busy and pretty unhealthy but I'm having fun so far! I love my classes and my roomies but not the food! It's so hard to be motivated to cook a nutritious meal.... Moms are amazing! I really miss mine, except I'm glad that I don't have to have Giada's : ) Anyway, I digress, here's a sample of my culinary skills:
..... or not, blogger's not working. Aunt Jenny, HELP!!!
Anyway.... HEPE is my health and phytness class that I really like and that will really help me. One of the assignments was to calculate my fitness level and so I did that on Labor day with my cousin at my grandparent's house it was fun, informative, and motivating. Here's my results:
BMI-26.5, marginal rating
Cardivascular Fitness
1.5 mile in 18 min. VO2max-36.76, good fitness rating
Mucscle Fitness
18 pushups, marginal fitness rating
33 curlups, good fitness rating
Flexibility Fitness
sitting with legs extended, feet flat against a wall, reach to wall, knuckles or palms touch the wall, high performance level
This test was really cool to me, especially since I thought I would do a lot worse but it makes me feel like I can do a lot better. The next assignment was to wear a pedometer for 2 weeks and record the results. Well, it's toward the end of the assignment, and I've already had a little mishap with the pedometer involving a toilet so... more on that when the assignment's completed!
I'm glad to see you got the blog to work. How are you doing with the camera?
