Update
I'm not a faithful blogger. But that's ok, cause noone knows about this blog. I really need to invite my family but that's a problem for another day....... yeah, another day.
ANYWHO! Classes are going amazing! I simply adore all of them and am so excited for this semester. Bwahaha, you should have seen me when I was buying my books at the BYU bookstore, I was purely GIDDY with joy! Ah, I love books, I am a self proclaimed book-aholic (yes, I just went there). My history books were the most exciting... actually it might have been my Strengthening the Marriage and Family books that really did me in... ah, I don't know, all I know is that I love them and will never sell them! If I were somebody important in ancient times and was buried in some enormous tomb, my books would be there. I love books.
My classes are going superbly well. I just finished my Social Dance 180 class for today and we are learning the foxtrot. It's a lot of fun and I feel super elegant even though I'm six foot in my heels and dance with guys half a foot shorter than me! It's so cool to be able to ballroom dance and just have that element of sophistication in my life and I wish there were more opportunities to do it.
I have my history class next, and I'm really enjoying it. The reading is very interesting (shocking!) and I find that I enjoy the reading more than the lecture. I really want to do well in this class so I'm trying to study and think ahead for assignments and everything
I love my Strengthening the Marriage and Family class, the teacher is super sweet and it's very interesting to learn about the Proclamation for the Family more in depth. I find that it is also strengthening my self esteem and I feel better about myself. I strongly recommend taking this class if you have the opportunity.
My New Testament class is awesome! It's almost like Sister Bullock's seminary class my freshman year, which, by the way, was my favorite! We read a lot from the bible dictionary which is so freaking COOL! Love it.
My sewing class is fine, we're only working on samples right now, so nothing to exciting. We get to make a hoodie, a little girl's dress, and a men's shirt, so that will be taxing but well worth it.
And I'm loving french 202. My professor is so hilarious! And the class size is really small, there's only 8 of us as opposed to 30. The atmosphere reminds me of Madame Foster's French class back at TCA which was perfect! I know I am going to really excel in this class.
Well, that's all for now! Hopefully I will eventually have readers again and will remember how to invite people :) But I must part now and study for history. Tally ho!
